Catching up

Well it's been almost 3 months of living in Texas. So let me bring you up to date on the adventures of the Barth Boys. Everyone has adjusted beutifully. Texas is a perfect fit for us. We've been very busy these past few months.
Hunter turned 6. We had a small party at dad's. He had a chocolate chip cookie in the shape of Texas. He started a new school and loves it! Eight days left in the school year. Apparently he is quite the ladies man. At last count he has 6 girlfriends. One even wrote him a love letter. I thought that happened later. He has started tee-ball and loves it. He is one of the top players one the team.
Connor is our country boy. He loves tractors, horses and cows. He makes daily rounds with Brian to check dad's horses and Paw Paw's cows. He also checks Uncle Benton's horses. He rides horses. You're probably thinking that he sits up on the saddle with one of us. Well not usually. Most times he sits on the horse and dad walks him around.
I work at Presby Rockwall on the IMC unit (Intermediate Care) and Brian is holding down the home front.
We have been going to several rodeo's. Dad and Uncle Benton have participated in a few in the field sorting event. Uncle Benton missed the top prize saddle by 2 points! The entire family is taking riding lessons from Uncle Benton. We've also been helping dad out with the farm and cattle duties.
We've even had visitors. Our niece Rachel spent the night. Nana and Pop Pop have come down. The guest room is ready. For reservations contact Hazel :0)
We are having a great time in Texas!! Check out the pictures below....

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well. Thinking of you guys often, especially everytime we go to one of Kyle's baseball games, makes me think of Hunter. Take care and we will be making a reservation to visit!
