The Happenings...
Well since my last post alot has happened. Hunter finished 1st grade with straight A's and perfect attendance. He also got 2 trophies. One is an apple for being principal of the day and the other is a star which he got for having the highest number of AR points (Advanced Reader) for first grade. We are so proud of him! Connor has finished pre-school and is loving having Bubba home to play with him all day. Brian's ribs are healing. Slowly but still healing. My finger has healed and I'm paying more attention to sharp objects when washing dishes!! :) Have I told you lately how wonderful my sister and brother in-law are? They are great! This weekend we went to see George Strait, Reba, Blake Shelton and LeAnn Womack in concert at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. We stayed overnight at the Sheraton in Arlington. What a terrific hotel. We recommed it to anyone who wants to stay close to Six flags, Rangers Park, Cowboys Stadium and Hurricane Harbor. Cat & Jacob watched the boys over night! The concert was wonderful!!! Our seats were 35 feet from the stage. The stadium was amazing!!! Brian and I got to thinking it had been 3 YEARS since we had a night out without the boys! Thank you Aunt Catherine & Uncle Jacob for a much needed night out!!Tomorrow our baby turns 3. Hard to believe Connor is 3. We are going to go swimming at Aunt Catherine's with "Baby Kayla."

Buckin' Brian
So it's been a rough week at our house. Thursday I cut my pinkie finger pretty bad with a super sharp knife. Yes it could use a few stitches, but being a nurse I figured I can fix it. Well I did get it healing pretty good until Sunday when I bumped it and busted it open again. So I'm still working on it and it's healing okay now. Saturday we worked cows with my dad, uncle and cousins. It was a blast until it start to rain then pour down rain. The corral became a mud pit with people and calves sliding and falling everywhere. But we got the job done. Sunday was the big event. We went riding on Sunday with dad. Ralph was going to make his first Barth riding adventure. Let me first say that we have been told Ralph has been ridden and is not new to riding. Well, we got him tacked and he did great! Looked fabulous (check him out below). Then dad got on him and rode him to make sure he knew the basics (right, left, forward, backward and stop) which he did. Then dad got off and put Bri on. I was riding Tigger. Then we were off. Well after a minute I hear a branch break then Bri says "Oh sh*#!!" I look over my shoulder and here comes Brian riding as Ralph is bucking. Needless to say Bri hung in there for about 5 bucks then he went left and Ralph went right. He's pretty banged up and his glasses are a mess! We went to the ER today and guess what he has 3 broke ribs. He also bruised his left ring finger and has some swelling on his left hip. But he will make it. Hunter has lost his game Thursday night 4-7. He did great! 3 for 3 and made some crucial outs on first. Next game is Monday. He also had play-day this past week. I posted some pictures below. Connor has park day tomorrow. So stay tuned for those pics!

Baseball
Last week Hunter's team lost 6-0. Hunter had a great game though. He got out on his first at bat. His last at bat he got a triple. Yesterday they won 5-2. Hunter hit the tieing RBI. Then he hit another single while in extra innings. They really did great! Here are some photos. I also added a picture of the lillies the boys got me. They also made me bracelets. It was a great Mother's day.

Baseball
Hunter had his first game Thursday night. They won 5-4 in extra innings!!! Hunter scored 2 of the 5 runs!! They even got their uniforms! They all looked and played great! We also got about 8 inches of rain over the past 2-3 days. We even had some flooding. Here are some pictures of the game and flooding. The one picture is of the field across the street from my house and the other picture is the road that my house is on.
