Fort Worth
Saturday we went to The Fort Worth Stock Show with Granny & Pap. We had a blast. We saw all kind of cows, horses, mustangs, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. The boys even got to see a baby chick hatch. Of course we had to check out the John Deere tractors and evey other tractor there!! We had a blast!

Better late than never
Last Monday we went to the park with Aunt Catherine and Princess Makayla. It was a lot colder than we expected so we weren't there as long as we expected. We then went to lunch with the girls (Aunt Charlotte, Grannie, Cheryl, Amanda, and Kim). What a great afternoon!! Here are some pictures of the park.

FINALLY....
Since we moved to TX we've been discussing attending the Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak. Well, we finally did it! As an added bonus Dad and Linda also went with us. No the roof did not fall in nor did we have a blizzard. We did however have a great time! Any service that opens with the band playing and singing "Chicken Fried" can't be all bad. They did have a few minor lyric changes but all in all it was great. Connor sat on the edge of his seat 100% focused on the band and drummies. Hunter sat beside me listening intently. I'm used to Catholic service which is a bit on the strict side and has a lot of sit down and stand up and recite lines that are memorized. This service is a bit different. For starters the pastor knew as soon as we walked in we were new there and made a point to come up introduce himself and actually meet us and the boys. He made the message understandable for all levels. For the first time I can actually tell you what the message was today. We truly enjoyed chruch today and plan to become regulars. Imagine that!!! Anyway here's a picture of the boys before church today.

Connor's Curtains
We have finally hung Connor's curtains made by Nana. They look great!! He absolutely loves them. As an added bonus the valance reminds us of Grandma Shirley's Pop-Pop (according to Hunter). So not only did we get to tie Connor's room together but we also got to remember our Pop-Pop. For Christmas Conn also got some wall decorations that we also hung up. We also made him a reading area.
